Surfers & Surfriders have long been un-represented with many beaches being allocated for bathing only.
Surfers and surfriders have had numerous issues with the authorities who are unaware of their sports and their popularity leading to bannings and unnecessary issues.
This has left Surfriders high and dry and unable to practice their sports and passion without fear of prosecution. What the UAE needs is YOUR SUPPORT to ensure that we have a voice in the community and within the government to promote our sports and to represent the UAE internationally. Beaches and areas for watersports need to be protected from overzealous developers to ensure the UAE has a healthy area allocated for non-motorized watersports. Beaches also need to be regulated to ensure they are safe and those teaching their sports do it with the correct techniques and with the correct attitude to ensure all students get the best possible education.
The aim of the UAE Surfriders federation is to liberate all the surfriding communities in one single group and ensure they are well represented within the UAE so that they can be enjoyed by all and excel with the support of the community and the local government.
The UAE Surfriders federation is a non-profit organization and represents the following sports:

"Uniting the Middle East’s boardriding community"
The idea behind this Club was to link all boardriders from surfers to SUP'ers to skimboarders to bodyboarders (basically anyone who rides waves) by linking them all on one Club and on an interactive chat forum where members could network with people in their sports as well as link themselves to other Middle Eastern communities in one single area.
The club is a non-profit organization but still linked to suppliers and shops so surf riders would be able to get advice from industry leaders and the professionals in their respective sports. They would thus be able to get easy access to the best wave riding products and best advice for their respective sports in the region.
The club was also intended to be a centre for events like charity fundraisers, eco events and other surf riding events in one single area.
Dubai is the center of surfing in the Middle East so it was decided to use that as a home area but the forum is intended for all Middle Eastern wave riders whether local or expat or international.
Membership is free and open to anyone and we are the founders of the Dubai Surfriders Club.
