Sandstorm surfboards is the UAE's & the Middle East's only homegrown surfboard brand and was launched in 2010.
The history of the brand was that Sandstorm surfboards was grown from the idea that a high quality surfboard should not have to cost a lot and that working closely with top shapers would allow us to tailor boards specifically to the UAE surfer. Boards would be tailored for local conditions as well as the travelling surfer.
The name was conceived by a nationwide contest with many entries being sent in. The winner was chosen and then a 2nd contest was run to have the label designed with the winner winning the very first surfboard ever produced.
We also developed the range to cover all levels of surfers from beginners & kiddie's softboards to longboards, mini mals and super faster thruster & fish shapes for ripping it on high performance waves.
All boards are made to the highest specifications and we use only the best quality materials to offer you a surfboard that blasts and also lasts! All boards are made by a master surfboard shaper and boards are also priced at the best prices to ensure that everyone gets to ride a truly great surfboard without breaking the bank.
This was a surfboard brand conceived by & designed by UAE surfers and is intended for UAE surfers.
